Jacob Douthat, Project Superintendent, Construction at Sallee Development, is a Kansas City native with a background in the construction industry. He began his career in 2014, but moved into house framing in Pleasant Hill in 2016, where he honed his skills for three and a half years. Concurrently attending MCCKC part-time, Jacob graduated with an Associate’s degree in Construction Management in 2021. Transitioning to an assistant project manager role, he gained comprehensive knowledge of home building. After graduating, Jacob secured his first project superintendent position, successfully completing 20 homes. Joining Sallee Development in 2024, Jacob now oversees construction projects with a commitment to quality and efficiency, leveraging his extensive experience and education.
